February 28th is Rare Disease Day.

Rare New England is taking the 7 weeks following Rare Disease Day to bring awareness to rare diseases and to remember those affected by them.

7 is a significant number.

There are 7 days of the week and 7 colors of the rainbow. Kids learn that there are 7 continents in geography classes. Psychologists have shown that the longest sequence an average person can recall contains about 7 items. There are over 7,000+ rare diseases.

Rare disease patients attend school and work in your community. Chances are you may know someone with a rare disease and if you have, you have been “touched” by a rare disease. Will you consider being a champion for people with Rare Disease? Your donation of even $7 or more will help Rare New England continue its mission to support and advocate for those with rare diseases.

Rare is Strong, Rare is Proud and

Rare is Many.
